We wish to thank everyone who visited our stand during Silmo 2017.
We are delighted with the interest we received in our collections and meet many wonderful companies and people to start a collaboration.
Our next stop will be Mido 2018, so do not miss the chance to meet us during the show in Milan.
As we roll into the new autumn/winter 2017 season, the retro styles keep coming back.
A strong trend is oversized rectangles that balance out the otherwise softer features seen in the previous season.
Autumnal solid colours add depth to the bold angles of the frame. The double bridge is a must, even if your prefer a metal frame this season.
The next Silmo show is fast approaching, and this year is the 50thanniversary.
We have so much to celebrate! Please ensure to arrange your meeting with us so we can share with you the exciting new models for A/W 2017 and also the new “Be Italian Be Inspired” campaign.
We are waiting for you at Hall 5 Stand F098.
All that glitters is good!! This season sparkles with glitter galore. From embellished dresses to elaborate accessories, add some sparkle to your eyewear to complete the look and shine like a star.

Transparent crystal is one of the most important seasonal trends in eyewear, and the predominant element in clothing and accessories. Crystal glasses have been around for many years, but they have just recently gained in popularity. Being colourless or having only very slight tints, they are almost invisible from afar.
Many of us are choosing frames in bold colours; such as transparent petrol blue, red and green.
Glasses with crystal frames are very cool and trendy and go well with almost any kind of complexion and outfit. This season introduces us to light or pastel colours, defined on lightweight clothing with tone on tone accessories.
The look is transmitted to eyewear in modern shapes and ultra lightweight designs with bold transparent acetates.
The most striking features of Bella Italia are the backdrops of the new advertising campaign of ItalianInstantInspiration: featuring Venetian canals, hidden streets, and markets illuminated by the colours of summer.
All the expressions of Italy come together in the perfect setting for the new AW17 iii eyewear collection.
Here our collage of backstage images gives you a preview of what’s to come!
The flower fantasy is the great classic of the summer season. Nothing makes summer more cheerful than flower prints on dresses. The trend sees long and flowing dresses, through to accessories decorated with flower textures.
Whether roses, daisies or lilies, macro or stylized, the focus is on a colourful palette.
In eyewear the flower inspiration transpires into a fresh and romantic look.
Among the must have trends for SS17 you need to chose clothes and accessories in tune with one of these colours:
Yellow is one of the most energetic colors of the spectrum and is on show as theMust Have tone of the season. Bright and warm shades can combine with basic garments for a rainbow or colour block style.
Blue is the perfect nuance to feel in vacation mode. We can see variations of pastels, as well as vibrant midnight blue. All well-matched with accessories and silver jewellery.
Orange also appears in the new colour palette for the season, and can be wornin all its shades. Take it to white or neutral colors to make it softer, or to metal accessories to revitalise its energy.
Neutral colors continue to dictate trends from sand to beige.
And finally there is black! Who says it can’t be worn in the summer? Fashion designers, have introduced it even for the hottest days of the year with light fabrics such as linen or chiffon.

The style of “rock” culture born in the 70s, has never stop to exist and continues to present itself in modern day interpretations. This Spring / Summer 2017 we see the trend going back to the 70s and 80s. The must have articles are rocker style leatherjackets, leather belts, shiny tight pants, and skirts with visible zips. Of course allarticles need to be heavily decorated with metal details! This look is transmitted to eyewear in the form of metal framed eyeglasses with the cool colourful lenses, in round as well as geometric shapes. Not to be missed is the guitar on the tip end for extra “rocker” detail. The results? So strong so good!

The wardrobe for fall 2016 reveals savage fantasies with animal prints. The skin pattern of leopard, cheetah, zebra, tiger, crocodile, and snake make anyone look special. This phenomena makes any outfit style look daring, bold and sophisticated. Moreover, this bright pattern can make your outfit look classic and elegant. Hit the spot in small doses if you fear the print will swallow you whole; animal print accessories, like the frames shown here, can be just as eye-catching.
Fendi celebrates their 90th Anniversary with an emotional, intense and extraordinary show. A catwalk made of Plexiglass with a backdrop of the Trevi Fountain illuminating the stage. Models wearing light and flowing gowns appearing to glide on water. An atmosphere of pure magic, sensitivity and creativity. Every gown preciously decorated with feathers, flowers, pearls, castles and woods. Scenes hand painted on fabric creating dreamy and vibrant fairytale stories.
Fendi may be celebrating their 90th year, but seem to know the secret of eternal youth.
Andy Wharol inspires the look of summer 2016 with a striking mix of primary colours. Brilliant red, vibrant yellow and intense blue provide a striking contrast to this summer’s hot look. These deep hues are back on trend thanks to the contemporary designers creative use of a solid palette. Colours sit either on their own or in contrasting combinations and provide a mood which is striking but at the same time simple..
This apparel and accessories colour trend influences also optical frames this summer with a look that is bold and bright.
